This breathtaking group model includes a seahorse skeleton hand-carved from Siberian Jet, a rare fossilized decomposed wood formed millions of years ago. The Seahorse has cultured pearls for eyes, and rests on a block of peacock variscite ore, a rare mineral sometimes confused with turquoise (variscite is rarer and greener in color). It is displayed on a Jet base, carved with oceanic fossils and framing a cast bronze Ammonite.
Displayed alongside the seahorse is a bronze hourglass. Atop it rests a Jet Eight Ball Clock carved with oceanic fossils. The group rests upon a base crafted from a Thuya tree, a cedar mentioned in the Bible and exclusive to Morocco.
