The blades geometry offers a wonderful sculptural work of art.
At cost of $160,000 new for each blade, these wide Chord fans where used to Power the Airbus 380 aircraft with modern Jet engines such as the Rolls Royce Trent 900.
To improve the aircrafts fuel economy and thrust, designers refined the blades geometry to give it a scimitar like shape, made from titanium, with a hollow cross section.
