A simple yet effective musing on the family Dynastinae, or Rhino beetles. The mechanics, variety and sheer size of Rhinoceros beetles makes them a fascinating subject of interest in entomology and in design. Their elaborate exoskeletons are able to carry over 850 times their own weight. Nocturnal creatures, Rhino beetles generally feed on fermenting fruit and sap and use their variety of horns to fend off competing males.
